Bud Hannah
In 2003 I hired RE/MAX In The Hills to sell my ranch. At that time, I was also working as a Master Mechanic at Wharf Resources which is an open pit gold mine in the Black Hills. In 2004, I became licensed as a real estate agent and due to my positive experience with selling my ranch, I started working at RE/MAX In The Hills. I truly enjoy working with people who are selling their property and I am excited to help buyers who are searching for just the right home, land or business to fulfill their dreams.
After becoming licensed in both South Dakota and Wyoming, I became interested in serving with our local association as well as the state association. I served on the local Board of Directors for the Mount Rushmore Association of Realtors since 2006 as the Secretary, Vice President and in 2011, I became the President and was a member of several committees created to enhance and better the real estate industry. I continued to serve on the board until 2017 when I was elected to the position of Secretary/Treasurer of the South Dakota Association of Realtors for 2018. I am excited to be a part of the positive changes in our industry!
I became a Certified Residential Specialist by taking additional educational courses and am also on the Board of Directors for the Council of Residential Specialists. In 2016, I was elected as President of this council for the Dakota chapter. In 2016, I was honored to receive the CRS of The Year for the Dakota Chapter
In 2016, I was recognized by my piers by winning the Realtor of The Year for the Mount Rushmore Association of Realtors.
I love the Black Hills and especially enjoy the summers where I can pursue my passion in riding my motorcycle and golfing. I also love spending time with my wife, two sons and my beautiful grandchildren.
